Evening VAS’ites (Or future VAS’ites)
Our upcoming meeting will be held at the Carreg Bran Hotel in Llanfairpwll on Tuesday, the 30th January at 7.30pm. Here are a few reminders of what will be happening on the night.

Membership/ Renewal
Our membership secretary will be present to accept new membership/ renewal forms and take payment and to hand out the new 2018 anniversary membership cards.

We have a very special presentation for this night, a recent Red Arrow Squadron Leader Steve Morris who served as Red 5 then Red 7 and final year as syncro lead Red 6. So who will ask the question about how the nerves feel for the Gypo Break?!

Photo Comp
Also on the night we will be accepting entries for our yearly photographic competition, which is open to ALL full & associate members. We are looking forward to the photo entries by you all, it doesn’t matter how good you think you are with a camera be the camera a top of the range Canon or Nikon DSLR, a point and shoot or just the camera on your phone.

We would prefer you print off the photos (Ideally A4 size) and write your name on a post-it note and stick onto the back of the print and then slide them it into 1 x A4 plastic sleeve per photo, along with digital copies on either a USB stick/ CD/ DVD or e-mail them to the address in the link below.
There are five categories for this year:-
Flying = Aircraft surrounded by blue sky/ clouds
Static = Wheels on the ground
Low Level = Flying in any Low Level area worldwide
RAF Valley = The photo must include a familiar building/ location around RAF Valley, any decade
Warbird = Must be ex-military aircraft propeller or jet.

Full details can be found here
Can we please ask that you only straighten/ lighten/ darken and crop the photos (Minimal "photoshopping" if any required?) before presenting them to us for judging by the staff at RAF Valley.

As usual Nick and I will be there to help any members with Plane Plotter, 360Radar, ADSB, FR24 any scanner programming along with any issues regarding IT, VAS website or our FB page.

We all look forward to seeing you :-)
