Many people may be aware of a German aircraft releasing bombs during WW2 near Conwy ( Bryn Morfa Caravan site ) that impacted at the base of Conwy mountain. I was told today of another incident whereby 2 Hurricanes were seen attacking a German bomber in the Conwy bay & this German aircraft was shot down to crash into the sea off Puffin Island. If anyone is aware of this incident & has any details I would be pleased to hear. I don't have a year for this.

Try the book 'No Landing Place' by Edward Doylerush
He does mention a dogfight 'seen by thousands' on
11 Oct 1940, of Hurricanes of 611 squadron and
Dornier Do17's.
