Heard an aircraft go down at 14.59hrs on the scanner! It came up as a Shannon emergency freq? There was a british pilot in an aircraft providing top cover for an aircraft in trouble. They were talkin about being in contact with london mil and the covering aircraft was describing what the potential crash landing site was like! They gave a lat/long but hadnt a pen to hand. I then heard the top cover pilot congratulate the stricken pilot on a good job holding it together so i assume he's ok! Anyone hear this? Any ideas?
