A couple of hours spent in this city centre park. Freezing cold (5 Deg C should have been 20+).
All taken with Canon 400D and Canon EF 300mm f/4L IS lens. Only the Parakeets cropped.
The Black Kites were taken from the roof of the hotel at dusk, heavily cropped and lightened slightly.
I've spent hours trying to I.D. the birds with varying degrees of success (failure). If anybody has any ideas I will be grateful for their input.
Mike.

Robin,

Thank you for your kind comments. I sometimes wish I was still there too!
But it was so cold. We were on our way to Oz for the air show and had packed mostly warm
weather gear. It had been in the mid 20's for weeks before we got to Hong Kong, so what a
shock. We ended up wearing the same clothes for days trying to keep warm - must have looked like
tramps. I will post some more from Oz when I get time. Glad you like them.

Thanks again,

Mike
